Play Junior A or go D3 out of High School?

members.aol.com/cheisenber/Recruit05.htm

Foregoing website lists by D1 school all players committed (Oral and National Letter of Intent). It's history is sound and timely. Players percentenge of gaining a D1 berth in 2004-2005 are as follows (You can of course increase your chances by playing 3 instead of 2 years if you remain age eligable, under 21 in 3rd year). Hardly anyone gains a D1 berth in the first year through the Nahl and EJHL.

USHL11TeamsX23Rosters=253 102Committments 40% D1

Nahl 18TeamsX25Rosters=450 49Committments 9% D1
Does not include Team USA

EJHL 13TeamsX23Rosters=325 31Committments 9% D1

Play for your own reasons. Perhaps you want to become sronger for a competive D3 program but be informed. Check the website yourself and do the math. Best of Luck.
