Thanks.
I don't expect a gway win, but would like to see a good game.
H 1, G 0 end of 1. Greenway is not allowing Hermantown much space operate. Hermantown has an edge in play but are not dominating. Shots on goal 10-7. Greenway has stayed out of the box.
2-1 Hermantown end of 2. Greenway tied it on a nice pass by Cgapurdia to LaDoux. Samberg put Hermantown back in front. Greenway is still getting a stick or body on the Hawks not giving a lot of room. Thought Hermantown increased their territorial advantage. Be interesting to see if Greenway can hang with them the third period. Wonder if Hermantown can kick it into a higher gear.
Hub is saying 2-1 Hermantown win. Shots 27-18 Hawks.
While it hurts to come so close to getting the upset, I think the Raiders have to be pleased that they hung so tough with the #1 team in A. This is something to build off of and there is no reason for them to fear the Hawks should they meet again at Amsoil.
I look forward to some eyewitness accounts.

Hermantown 2-1 over Greenway. Greenway had a 4 minute man advantage but never mounted a serous threat. Can't help but admre the effort of Greenway. Hustled the whole time. Hermantown was faster, stronger and a better passing team, but Greenway did not allow them any room. Hermantown had several icings and offsides because of the scrappy play. Great job by the Raiders.
Well here is the story. Game was almost boring. Neither team could really get quality chances. Greenway pp was terrible. Shots favored herm. Greenway proved to me tonight they can play with any team in the state. They forced herm into playing a tight game and didn't allow them much for run and gun play. I would give the edge to herm but not by a lot, in fact greenway had a chance to tie on a nice screen in front off the net by 7 and he just missed the rebound. Herm escapes the snake pit and if anything the raiders will be a much more confident and scary team from here on out. Glad I made the trip and looking forward to feb 2. Jackets raiders in the memorial building.
The Greenway defensemen played a great game. They kept Hermantown forwards to the outside. The defensemen used their bodies very effectively. Although the Hermantown kids were bigger and stronger Greenway's defensemen leveraged them nicely so they never got a clean shot to the net.
