I thought Hibbing looked good, especially when you consider that they had 9 sophomores and 2 freshmen out there, plus a goalie making his first consequential varsity start. GR's pk was stellar, and kept Hibbing from closing the gap.

Could not agree more rainier for their first game Hibbing looked as expected got blitzed out of the gate in the 1st period but settled in nicely after that. Had a chance in the 3rd period to make 5-3 right after the 2nd goal and showed alot of skill speed. Lots to like about Hibbing and boy they stay busy 2 more games this weekend at TRIA Rink the big one with #6 Northfield on Saturday!
