Cloquet should have had that win last nite against East. Both teams played a hard game and East just ended up with a lucky shot that ended the game Good job to both teams

With Fast getting hurt in the third period, they were down to three D dudes. Was there someone else Esse could have moved back from forward? I don't know Cloquet well enough to answer that. Cloquet did work hard for the game and deserved it.. they should b the ones goin to state and not East.. i like east and all but id rather see cloquet cum away with the big win that they deserve!!!

They played a great game, but they started to lose steam in the last OT, East stayed strong. I understand that there are factors that contribute to the lack of play, but that's the way the cookie crumbles, it happens and I'm happy for East, they worked their a$$es off. Good Job guys!

we deserved it last night they just got lucky it shouldn't have even counted oh well what can we do only to try again next year! you guys did good though becuase i know that mitch tyler steve or one of you guys are reading this and if you arent you will be!

Ok, every team deserves state. You can't say that East didn't deserve state. I don't know why most of the other Cloquet people on here are complaining that Cloquet deserved it more than East. I love Cloquet, I love the boy's hockey team, but you have to accept the fact that we lost to a better team. Sure, we might have beat them twice this year, but last night they were the better team. We played our best and I'm proud of our boys. You guys did an awesome job! Now let's just stop the arguing on who deserved the win more and let's talk about what a great game it was.

Reid, I am not sure if you read this board (no pun intended) but you played an amazing game last night...you have two years more to try to get to state, but i know its tough for you. two overtime loses to try to go to state. (other being vs. Rapids in the VFW final two years back) you are a special goalie, you will go a long way.
