The Wild traded Pascal Dupuis to the New York Rangers today for right wing Adam Hall.

I've never been a big Dupuis fan, so I'm happy to see that he has been dealt. I would have rather seen room made up front so somebody like Irmen or Pouliot had a shot to show their merit, but Hall should be a nice addition as he adds grit, he should be a solid role player down the stretch.

I don't think Dupuis was a bad player but I think he filled a role we could fill with a younger, cheaper player. That hold out he had a few years back did sour me on him a bit. Good Luck to him.
