Nick Bjugstad was selected as the winner of the Mr. Hockey award. Congrats! He's going to the U next year right?

Thought so. Wasn't sure if he was going to a junior league for a year than go to the U, but he'll provide much needed offensive power for the U.

Wouldn't that be fun... Play in the State tourney, then jet to wherever your College team is playing to help them gain a NCAA berth...

With his height, maybe the Gopher basketball team could use him right now against Ohio State, down 11...

Was Bjugstad even at the State Tournament? A tremendous talent but he swalled the invisible pill this last weekend..

Congratulations to him, but please ask to go to the juniors for at least a year. Get some time and experience under your belt. You are only a junior in high school....I know he is completing his junior and senior season, but he is still a junior.

Is he old for his class? I know people made a big deal a Ness graduating school early but he was 18. Didn't seem that incredible to me, cause I graduated high school a week after I turned 18. Now if he became a doctor like Doogie Howser at 18 I would be impressed!

from the sounds of his speech he could barely talk, which may indicate he has been sick. Could explain his poor play in the tourney
