bb watched the first two periods (wayzata was ahead 2-1) and had these observations:

1) tonka dmen were not sharp
2) wayzata took too many penalties
3) tonka power play needs to improve
4) wayzata goalie was very good

I'm not surprised tonka came back to win as they have shown that capability this season (just ask lace'em). however, living on the edge is a dangerous way to win....

Wayzata out skated and out hustled Tonka, Youngun forgot to mention the lopsided calls by the Tonka refs and the clear goal that was called off (was right behind the net) in the 3rd that would have tied it. Hats off to Tonka on coming back but if Wayzata skates\plays a full 3 periods next time, it won't be close.

The "Tonka Refs" called too many penalties on Wayzata? C'mon, are u kidding me?

Stop tripping players and you won't visit the sin bin. The penalties on Wayzata in periods 1 and 2 were legit. If you have a lead going into period 3, you better be able to close the deal and Wayzata didn't.

by the way wayzata skated every period.. Tonka only skated 1 and a half periods.. so if tonka skates the whole game and gets it goin we all know what happens.. 5-2 eazy

Can't blame the refs? No, they're perfect right? We don't see anyone critizing ref's performance in amateur and professional sports, right?

All I'm saying is they did not call a balanced game; in other words there was a plenty of holding and interference calls they did not make on Tonka, I'm not discreting the calls made on Wayzata.

Not of one mentioned anything about the dissallowed that would have tied it - yer thoughts? is that to critical of the refs?

HalfuhStar - Skated every period? Really don't flatter yourself.

Like i said hats off to Tonka; we'll meet again around the way.....

There are missed calls against every team in every game. Sometimes you get the calls and sometimes you don't. It's always easy to place blame when you don't win, and the refs are easiest to place it on.

I bet if you held the lead and took the victory you wouldn't have said anything about it.

as a player from wayzata i dont think olan is on our team... not sure tho. if u r man quit complainin about the refs, it just makes us look bad. tonka played a great 3rd period. i thought the one goal was in too, but at the end of the game scoreboard read 4-3 and thats all that matters.
