Coaching openings

Post by Rocketwrister »

Seems a little early, BUT according to this: http://www1.stcloudstate.edu/joblisting ... rSort=Date

Andover is looking for a new head coach.

That is a bit of a surprise, hope everything is ok with former coach.

With regards to this being early, if you look back at last years posts it started on Feb 7th, the first week of sections. So maybe it's a good sign that it is a little later then last year that the first opening is posted.

Add Duluth's Shawna Davidson to the list. Resignation turned in today.

Big loss for East.
Pretty sure it has nothing to do with East. Duluth has a single girls HS team if I'm not mistaken.

Not sure if he would? Would have to take quite a pay cut.

Did anyone here if Marvin resigned in Warroad? I heard that was the rumor. Something about coaching with the boys next season?

I wonder if you saw the Rogers job posted instead, Rogers is in the Elk River Area School District too. I don't see the Elk River job currently posted...unless it's already been filled?

Here's the list that I could confirm thus far:

1. Andover
2. Duluth co-op
3. Rosemount
4. Rogers
5. New Prague
6. Bemidji

I'm sure some others will need to be added soon.

New Prague - Andrea Peterson, former GAC All-American and D-III player of the year, was named head coach last week. She was an assistant last year and was an assistant at Gustavus for three years. She is a teacher in the district.
