Seedings for all regionals

What are everyone thoughts on how the AA Bantam and Pee Wee regions ended up having the selection committee decide who made it to regions. I would like to see this being done at all levels. Here is what in my opinion should be done. Have the North Region be true north teams and then have the remaining teams battle it out for the east, west and south regions. I think in order for post season play offs to mean something from each district the team that wins the district tournament gets a seed at regions and then the remaining seeds would be at large bids. I will use the A bantams as an example as that is what I am most familiar with. I will compare how the seeded bracket would differ from the regional brackets that are being used. This is all hypothetical as I am using the youth hockey hub rankings and I am sure not all teams have their entire scores in. Let me know what you all think of this.
