An 8th Edina player!! LOL

I don't pretend to know all of the players,(D3 Dad) but having seen this group in Bantams from the other side, the top 6-7 players on that team will do 90% of the damage. Goaltending looks good, and they'll have to be, the D after Anderson/Harris is not good.[/quote]

D6 HP, etc..

Post by redtundra »

Couldn't agree more. Some huge misses on this one from D6. Particularly at D. But not a shock given the same bunch couldn't get Middlestat (spelling?) right last year. D8 just as bad on some fronts. But they missed on Oettinger last year - not good enough for D8 top 20 but good enough for National Development and State Class AA runner-up...

Where did you find the District 8 roster? All I get is District 8 web site/stickstats but, no info on HP roster. Same goes for District 10. Is there a site that lists all the rosters? Tried Hockey Hub, Mn. Hockey etc. Anyone help?

D6 beat D3 4-2 last night in a very sloppy HP 15 seeding game.

Heard that D2 had beat D3 3-0 the night before but not confirmed.

D6 plays again tonight at EP. Not sure who their opponent is.

From D6, 3 Minnetonka got cut, and a couple EP. They kept almost all Edina and HF kids.

D6 beat D2 7-1. They played very well. There were a lot of good players try out for D6, and no matter who made it there would be a lot of complaining. At the end of the day this is only one small moment in these kids hockey career, and a lot of kids who made it and did not make it are going to have bright futures in hockey.

D6 has some low end guys in the bottom 35%. The people that select still can't determine who are good tryout kids vs. good hockey players. It's obvious and almost funny to those who have been watching this group for years.

Does seem strange... Didn't Prior Lake kinda hold the edge in strength at this age group?

No, they just happen to have kids that are good enough to make high school team and contribute in a big way.

Easy oldman. Maybe he's just making the point that Advanced 15 is based on a players residence and the youth association in that community and District 6. They are involved in the process based on their youth association in District 6 where there home is located. 16 and 17 is based on high school section.

District 6 did not list them as HF. Maybe that explains why zero from Chaska/Chan in this post. One is residence and youth association (how they were nominated for the process) and one is the team they played for (no bearing on this process).

Who does? What youth association nominated them?

i am just saying the boys who made the 15 HP 6 team, made it on their talent, the HF players who made it are from Shakopee, Chaska associations.
