Hermantown @ Thief River Falls 12/29

Post by Zamboni Guy »

In the final game of the Thief River Falls Classic the Hermantown Hawks will be facing off against the host of the festivities, Thief River Falls. The Hawks are coming off of an 8-2 win over winless Crookston while Thief River Falls fell to Virginia-MIB by the score of 4-3. Who will come out on top in this match-up? Thoughts or predictions?

Hunt will need to be very solid in net. Hermantown put a lot of pressure on EGF and was on the attack most of the game. TRF's defense will have to find a way to shut down LeBlanc and Huttel. My head tells me Hermantown but my hearts says TRF.

TRF 4 Hermantown 2 ENG

Another Hardy shut-out? Very interesting, I wouldn't be too suprised though.

TRF is not that bad, they have played incosistently yes, but they are not a bad team. Hermantown is very good. Also TRF got worked over pretty good by hermantown last year in the TRF tourney then when they met again in the state tournament it was a completely different game.

if hermantown is that good how come they only beat egf by 3 with 2 in the last minute, and a obvious disallowed goal for egf?

I think we decided Hermantown isn't that good, but TRF is that bad.
