Can't Never Tried wrote:Well I've really thought hard about this one... :-k and I think it's gonna be very close, DE only has 2 losses at home this year to CEC and Anoka and both 1 goal games, while CI is on and 11 game win streak.
My gut tells me the bus ride and the home team advantage is gonna be just to much for CI to overcome. :(

But :o !!!! because they beat Buffalo for my favorite Squad and are in the M8 I'm gonna throw all common sense out the window and take CI in an OT thriller. 8-[
5-4 CI
That would be nice but I cant see ben letting in 5 goals

East really seems to lack guys who can finish. This makes them more vunerable to an upset than any previous East team. I've seen East four times and they are well-coached, disciplined, and solid defensively; but, they really lack a true scorer. East still is the favorite but it would not be a big shock if they don't make state.

Yeah I know
Strictly used both teams GF average for the score on this one.
CI has 4.92 and DE 4.0

East 4
CI 0

Leis is way too good, big athletic goalie that has control. No way Cambridge comes close.

On this one, I am thinking...

Duluth East - 6
Cambridge-Isanti - 2

This is the part of the season that means something to Randolph, he'll have the boys ready.

If that's the case, they've gone a long time without reaching at least the semis.

Cambridge fans, rest easy, the past has absolutely nothing to do with tonight's outcome. However, I don't see the East streak coming to an end this year.
East lost to Virginia in the 1993 quarters. Virginia had a great goalie that year, Scott McKee I believe the name was.

Oh, and, East won't lose in the quarters this year either, East 6 CI 1

It will be a BIG shock, if they don't get to finals, a true scorer? they
don't have the t. johnson, p white, superstar (they did, he left) but Id
take the 9 forwards they have with better chemistry than the "true
scorer" the rest of the team relies on to get it done. Hounds have scored
99 goals this year, somebody is pumping in 4 goals a game on average?

if Cambridge upsets East because they have a decent record, then Monticello will beat Roseau, and Rogers will beat Blaine....

There's alot more to the quality of a team than it's record. Not saying those won't happen, but somehow I just don't see it happening.

At the top right hand part of the page where it asks for the 4 letters, type: KDAL.

You should see a KDAL 610, click the button: Click here to listen.
