woodbury's can get pretty ridiculous they brought 1300 students to there first round state game last year. in consolation round they sat right behind the opposing bench against hill, next game against edina they werent allowed within 10 rows of the benches because it got so intense.

Students can't stand at Monticello either, or sit in the front row :?

If it's an issue about standing in front of parents or just standing, then get your entire student section to show up during the JV game and take up an entire section where everyone is standing so no one can complain about it, or ask your AD to designate a section for you so there won't be any issues.

Otherwise, do what 5hole said and just make them kick you out, and if they kick 1 kid out, make them kick all the kids out 1 by 1. They're gonna try to make an example of 1, 2, 3 kids but if people keep standing they'll have to individually remove all the kids, then they'll just give u a section.

STA at the state tournament in dress uniforms. when i was there we weren't allowed to go to any state tournament (basketball, football, hockey, even swimming) unless we were in our "Class A" uniforms.

Hill verse White Bear, not many games get crazier then that.

Last years Roseville vs. White Bear game in sections at the Colliseum was pretty intense too. The A Bantam teams got in a fight up in that area behind the stands. :D

da elkaholics are the worst, but the woodbury student section the past couple of years has made beilenburg an awesome place to play. Great Atmosphere for a pretty plain arena.

Haha, the funniest thing I've seen was a couple years back when the whole Jefferson student section got kicked out of Eastview because they were yelling at the cheerleaders or something. So, all the kids stood outside and had a parent tell em when Jefferson scored and they did chants from outside the arena.

Also, the Burnsville-AHA game in sections was a great one. Once again those kids from Burnsville are insane. AHA though...not so much.

I like Burnsvilles crowd its good to see so much support for a hockey game. The only think I dont like is that they kind of feel that they ALWAYS need to be saying something. Even when the other team scores they will chant something like "you got lucky". Sometimes people just have to tip their caps and say "wow that was a nice play, ill give that one to you".

The only time I dont like student sections in general is when the chants get personal. I know it doesnt have to do with hockey but at the Lakeville North/Burnsville basketball game the other day LN packed the gym and just heckled this kid named Terrel. They chanted about his grades, ACT, etc. It was kind of funny though because he did miss alot of free throws.

yeah we do have to have the last word i dont know why, i always clap when the other team does something tight. but yeah Tarell Clark was verbally raped at LN, i guess it sucks for the LN fans that B-ville still ended up winning.

The section 216 and 206 connection will absolutly murder and student section in the state. Hands down, with a guarantee.

Best fans at the tourney last year, definitely GR. They showed a boat load of class and respect to Roseau. I was very impressed.

I agree, they have great class and make high school hockey that much more enjoyable

collectively, the burnsville fans are a great section. personally, theyre all idiots. at the state tournament last year, 2 rows of kids from our program and one other program had tickets for our seats there. Burnsville comes in and demanded we got out of their section. there were a few chicks that were most likely drunk and a few guys that wanted to "throw down." It was terrible, they got the ushers to come down there thinking they were going to kick us out, and ended up making the bville fans realize they are morons for trying to kick us out of our own seats.

burnsville does have a large student section, but what can you expect when your school has a graduating class of 800+ students??? if others schools had as many students they do, other schools would bring just as many, if not more fans then bville. burnsville fans are overrated

I was also impressed with the Rapids fans, even after a tough loss to Roseau!

I'd be happy if my team scored 3 goals in 3 mins. Just a little sportsmanship would be nice, looking at the other posts on this thread I don't think I'm out of line saying " burnsville fans are poor, sore losers!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah one kid was bragging about how Burnsville's fans were the only ones you could hear on TV. Does this mean you were sitting at your house watching on TV and not there supporting your team?

I'm going to go ahead and say Rochester John Marshall consistently has a loud student section, regardless of how down their team is.

I'm not sure of our size in relation to some cities teams, but I bet the Duluth East student section can probably claim the award for dirtiest chants. Some of the stuff we reserve for Cloquet is pretty awful.

I've only been to one East game this year and I noticed that they are in fact lacking in size. I mean, their student section was so small the other student section kept saying "We can't hear you" and they were sitting about 100 feet apart!
