That bracket could have great match-ups in the state semis.

STA vs. Edina
&
White Bear vs. Hill

We would see if the Cadets could hang with the big schools. There would of been tons of storylines in that game this year with Lee transfering...
Then follow it up with a White Bear-Hill game. Imagine the atmosphere at the Xcel with these two teams at state. I would love to see this match-up played out at the state tourney.

Assuming that the regional championships would be the state quarterfinals, there would be lots of other possible interesting match-ups.

BSM vs. STA
Hill vs. Warroad or Hill vs. Burnsville
White Bear vs. Roseau or White Bear vs. Moorhead
NO keep two classes. If it's not broke, don't fix it.
Some would argue that it is broke.

Fools. Judging on the attendance last week at the X and the number of members on this sight Minnesota High School Hockey is great the way it is.

I agree, plus the MSHSL is not going to make an exception about how they do things just for hockey. Sections will be based on geography so that all parts of the state have a chance to be represented. And for the foreseeable future you will continue to see two classes, based on enrollment.
