That doesn't seem to make much sense. Personally, I would think that if the underclassmen were good, the program would have a bright future ahead.

I was at the Hill/WB game and as a long time WB fan I was disappointed by the outcome. In my opinion, Hill dominated pretty much the entire game. Certainly the 5 minute major didn't help, but Hill was faster, smarter and basically just a better team. WB has some HUGE defensemen..but they cannot move...their feet or the puck. I thought I might pull my hair out as the WB breakout consisted of dumping it up the boards every single time. I hope WB improves throughout the year and gets another crack at Hill.

Bears win 6-5. A very good game. Centennial played a physical game. The Bears controlled most of the first two periods, up 6-2 late in the second. Centennial scored a few moments before the break and put in two more in the third. Wahlin and Swanson each scored twice for the Bears. Tomorrow, the winner of STA vs AHA.

WB wins 6-5. i thought it was a g reat game, but 6-5 didnt really show the score. WB controlled the game first two periods and then let in some sloppy ones late...but this one was all WB. #9 for the cougars, pitlick i think, had 2 sick goals though...

Take Pitlick off that team and I didn't see a whole lot of talent on the Cougers. From what I've seen with other teams in the state. Centennial is definately not top five yet. I love their suckhole offense though! Did somebody actually say Centennial had a couple of top defensemen? Who would that be? They sure didn't shine today.

This was not a good game for Centennial but as for defensemen Joe Schmitz is a B rated player for the NHL Draft.

Wow good find.

I thought #7 and #5 looked pretty good for Centennial on D, so I'll assume one of them was Schmitz, but other than Pitlick I wasn't that impressed with Centennial's first line. Hess was a very fast skater but he and Lovick were pretty unimpressive. It was a really sloppy game, I didn't think either team played that well, and both teams got some lucky goals.

Today's game was a little on the sloppy side. White Bear had a couple nice goals though, one coming from Swanson and Loesch batting one out of mid-air. Pitlick performed well too, but the goal tending was a little shotty on Centennials part. The Bears penalty kill was a lot better than against Hill, which is necessary for a team that for some reason can't stay outta the box. Should be an interesting match-up tomorrow against AHA. Hopefully the Bears can do without the penalties and keep up.

i agree some goals were sloppy and came from absolute mayhem in front of the net but a few of white bears were results of nice plays and brating the Cenn. goaltender who was clearly off his game today. i think white bear has a good chance tomorrow if they can play a little better than they did today.

Pitlick has been playing varsity with Centennial since his sophomore season. Possibly as a freshman too.

Tyler has developed into one hell of a hockey player... will be a future NHL draft pick...and I care less why the familly decided to escape from hockey futility in Champlin Park...but if you really believe that hockey played no part in they're move from CP to Centennial...then I'll respectfully argue that you must still believe in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus

WBL had some UGLY goals, they were either garbage goals or fluke goals, not to be picky. pitlick was definitely the best player on the ice and had some very nice looking goals.

Does anybody know why Pitlick is a senior? By the looks of his birthdate he should definantly be a Junior, i could be wrong, but thats how it looks

yea he should be a junior because he is younger than lovick who is a junior lol

They can't stay outta the box cuz they're SLOW. They have to hold and hook to not get blown by, especially the d-men

His first goal was on a turnover at the blue line that gave him a breakaway. His shot was top corner and he got it off quickly.

His second goal was also on a blue line turnover (same Def) and also on a breakaway. This time he put on a sweet move and put a back hand top shelf.

He was the best player on the ice, but keep in mind that his goals were on turnover break aways. He did not create a lot of great scoring chances on his own, for how much ice time he got.

Fluke goals no, garbage goals yes! Pretty goals ane pretty, but garbage goals win games. Remember, the teams that clean up the garbage usually win games.

Hmmm...
UGLY goals usually means UGLY goaltending. The truth is that WBL dominated this game until the third period. The only UGLY thing about the game was the UGLY cheap-shot, cross checking-from-behind penalty from Centennial that injured the WBL defender and left WBL short on defense. That allowed Centennial to make a come-back in the third. It should have been a 5 minute major with a game DQ.
