If you post your real name does make you brave?
What make these things fun is that you get to hide behind a fake name. I don't know Terry but I know who he is and I have seen him rip into people at tournaments.
Terry you are very exposed right now do yourself a favor and go back to your fake name.
As long as you are handing out your personal e-mail would you be a good sport and give us your credit card number?

I participate on another message board where you can't register unless you use your real name. Much better.
I'd be embarrassed to take shots at someone anonymously. Cowardly. If you can't say it to him in person you probably shouldn't say it at all.

Interesting posts. First, although it may have felt good to personally attack Mr. Moore because he is an attorney (and therefore presumably responsible for all the injustices in your life), I can assure you that Mr. Moore and other lawyers do not own patents on clear and concise writing. Ask the judges who are forced to read lawyers' briefs on a daily basis; those judges will tell you lawyers are just like the rest of the population--some lawyers write well and other lawyers not so much.
Second, although it may have brought a smile to your face to trash MR. Moore's integrity, any reasonably intelligent hockey parent recognizes Mr. Moore didn't have any incentive to misrepresent any information about the Blade mite program. Whether the program is at St. Louis Park Rec Center or Hat Trick Arena or Lily Pond Arena (the worst arena in the metro area) the Blades mite program would be--and, in fact, is--a sell out. Thus, there is no incentive to deceive any check writing parent. People are waiting in line to write checks for this program.
Third, if anyone had questions or was unclear about information posted by the Blades, pick up the phone and call or send an e-mail asking for clarification. Any literate person who has read posts on this Board knows you have to perform your own due diligence before you write a check to any program or AAA team. While the Blades organization is mostly made up of quality people, the original poster assumed the program was at St. Louis Park Rec Center. The poster was wrong. If Mr. Moore had said the program would be venued in Minneapolis, would you have assumed Mr. Moore meant Parade? Victory? Augsburg? Similarly, if the program materials stated that the kids would skate in Blaine, would you have assumed your child would be skating at the Super Rink or Fogerty Arena? Admittedly, in hindsight I'm certain Mr. Moore acknowledges he should have specified the name of the arena as opposed to its locale. But, that doesn't mean Mr. Moore deliberately set out to deceive anyone.
Fourth, the kids like to play on the small rink. My son plays at Parade on Sunday nights during the fall and winter in Dziedzic's 3-on-3 league on the small sheet and he loves it. In fact, my son likes skating on the small sheet better than playing on the big sheet. Why? Because you have to think quickly and you learn quickly that you and your team have more success moving the puck together than individually trying to skate coast-to-coast through 3 defenders on a small sheet.
Fifth, my son doesn't skate for the Blades. I've only spoken to Terry Moore once and he certainly didn't ask me to speak up on his behalf, but, unlike nearly all of us (me included), MR. Moore doesn't hide behind a moniker. The buck stops with him and he took responsibility for the posted information and responded immediately and appropriately to the disgruntled parent. That's a principled leader, folks--even if he is a lawyer.
Oh and Eastondude and others, your monikers will not protect you from subpoenas. Defamation is defamation and the Internet providers when faced with subpoenas willingly turn over all of the information they have on you. In short, you are not completely invisible and can be found, especially when you are engaging in defamation. Clean it up, folks.

As a former player representing the Blades, my parents and I have had numerous conversations with Terry Moore and not once did he INTENTIONALLY misrepresent any information that was pertinent to communicate with the Blades families. Was there misinterpretations of course there was, but Terry was more than willing to rectify any situation. Even though I was released from the team I have great memories to look back on and made new friends/opponents at the same time
