And if BSM parents are acceptable targets, is it OK to call the rubes from the Range a bunch of bumpkins?
I'd love to see that BSM-Grand Rapids rematch in March. It'll be a lot better on the big sheet at Mariucci.
I'd prefer to see an East-Wayzata rematch myself.

That, too, would be a great game at Mariucci. I'll sell you my consolation tickets.
Won't need them. I've already seen White Bear play this year.

Dream on, Lee.
You know that's a bogus call.

My gut tells me they will both be sitting on their couches watching on TV as Duluth East and Wayzata duke it out at state come March.

Some do have lavish cabins, but they usually only go up once a year and it's always in the SUMMER. The moms and daughters sit in the cabin and complain about bugs, while the dads and sons fish with big pike bobbers used with dardevles out of their pricey (non fishing) ski boats. I have many neighbors at the lake cabin that fit the mold.

Can't see Rapids winning in a non-wind game. Revenge is bitter sweet.

Its called a sunflower heater, which are fueled by propane or electricity.
Most ice fishermen use them.
I assume GR brought their own, and I don't consider it an unfair advantage considering the fact they came prepared and BSM did not.

Real men, like BSM, don't need heaters. GR=wimps.

All that money spent on tuition and they don't even teach common sense..... I'd ask for a refund.

Obviously I was just pointing pointing out that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. i didn't call anyone names, just asking if it is a two way street.
As far as I'm concerned, a little goose is good for the gander.

Ok honestly this game shouldn't even be counted on team records. This game is supposed to be a "fun" game. Yes I know the conditions were brutal, but it's the whole experience. I'm a bsm fan and I know coach pauly wasn't mad because he knows it's the experience of a lifetime and it's all about the fun.

Isn't "fun" the reason they play every game? Or am I missing something here?

I bet none of the BSMers would have a problem with Hockey Day MN games counting as "real" games if they would have pulled out the W.

BINGO!
Why can't people just give a team credit for working hard to get a win? This was a "fun" game for both teams to be a part of. Would GR win a rematch if both can even get to state? Who knows? Would they be favored? Even if they run the table to get there, heck no! But I'd definitely be there to see it.

Yeah, and I hope WBL wins the state tournament in my life time. We can all dream, can't we?

They are playing better, WBL that is, I would love to see them upset Hill Murray, but it just seems the gap is too wide this year even for some miraculous upset.
