Well Charlie, I am sure that the Catholics can take credit for Roseau's success and as soon as I figure out how, Ill get back to you.
The Pioneers join The Red Knights in a successful completion of the journey.
We started with 4 out of the 64 plus and end up with 2 of the 8. Thats 25% for those of us still getting up to speed on the new math and both are seeded. So many who doubted should feel renewed.
The journey has ended but work still remains.
It was a great trip

I have always been inspired by this guy who is truley one of our greatest of all time. He will go down as the "Statesman President", no doubt.
What an honor that he should stop in for the pre tournamnet festivities celebrating the great journey From Constantinople to St Paul and the success of the Catholics. Love ya , Dubya

Fridays in Lent are always special.
Stations of the Cross, no meat, and, as always, lots of kneeling and prayer
This coming Friday could be even more special. It could feature HM vs Roseau and BSM vs Edina.
Dont tell Sister Mary Rose, but I might have a steak if that happens.

I notice packer is still in good spirits as I saw him in the secular thread a few moments ago.
What do we have here? It's looks like we just have one left running, it has to be BSM because I know who'll be representin' the bottom half of the big school draw come Saturday.

The keen awareness of IS of our Christian symbols and our Catholic diets is noted.
However his confidence in secular humanism is misplaced. Just like Neut and his "faith" in science, IS is in for an awakening that will hopefully renew his Faith in Him.
So many are called but few are chosen.
We've got Cadets and Crusaders and Hilltoppers( anointed honorary Catholics) in A still alive.
Today the Red Pios will battle in AA.
Think about the possibility of an all Catholic final in both classes.
BTW, Regardless of whether you agree with him, I think it was totally inappropriate for John Miliea to write that article about STA. It was especially in poor taste to interview a player.
Who cares what Miliea thinks and even if he is right, his reasoning is poor.
Coverage of HS sports in the media should alwys be positive. STA's decision to play A should be the subject of discussion by people who care about hockey but not an editorial in a newspaper at tournamet time.
Typical Red Star quality journalism.

YES, it should be positve at all times.
Many don't like the paddlelocks that show up around here but even in this forum, negativity about HS kids isn't needed. Why a paper would do it is beyond comprehension

What a great Friday in Lent.
Catholics will get to have 2 Good Fridays this year and yesterday was one of them.
BSM played great in OT defeat.
HM beat Roseau soundly.
4 left and 3 are Catholic.
Even though I was going to treat myself to a steak yesterday, I had an attack of conscience and ate a fish sandwich at the X between periods instead. Man, they are bad but it's Lent and whataya gonna do.
We are the Catholics and couldnt be prouder, if ya cant hear us, its because we are praying.
Go Pioneers.
