Playin outdoors in weather that cold sure does change the look of the game.

I know it was outside, but both teams had to play in the same elements as the other team. This game just proves that Roseau is not as good as everyone thinks they are. The only reason Roseau won the game is their goalie, mike lee. Blaine took it to Roseau for the majority of the game, nut lee held tough and kept Roseau in the game.

Find a different dead horse. Last time I checked the goalie was part of the team.

Loved Lee's hat! That's that goalie mentality for you.
Somehow it was very fitting for the occassion

Wasn't it just a regular winter hat? I believe the NHL Outdoor game, one of the goalies was wearing the same type hat. He didn't start anything new here.

Since they got beat at state in 2006 Roseau is 51-2 with a state championship sandwiched in between. I can't find much wrong with Roseau the last couple of years.

ewe got it.....Exactly why roso is difficult to beat.

When they play bad, they win.

When they play well, they win, sometimes it's even win big.

Blaine is a good team. The fact that Roseau beat them should solidify the Rams as a top 10 team. Charmin or no Charmin.

I understand that the goaline is part of the team but what i was saying is, blaine is not one of the top teams in the state. Roseau got out worked and should have lost the game. Now put Roseau up against tonka, benilde or edina. those saves that lee made, might not have been saves and Roseau would have lost the game. If Roseau is so good, how come they got out played by a mediocre team.

The record will not make it to the State Championship Game.

23-0-0. whats your point? They are so good because they have not played a top five team in the state. They really deserve to be considerd the best team in state.

The record will not make it to the State Championship game.

Couldnt agree more. I was unimpressed by both teams. After watching st. thomas and hill before this one it was easy to see that both sta and hill are much better than both roseau and blaine. And dont give me the it was so cold excuse I have seen roseau and blaine both play before this and they played at the same speed they played in this one, a notch below the top teams.
