You realize that Gaede didn't play much last year because he broke his leg 3 weeks before tryouts, right?

What has happened to this program. They use to be so strong. Not only the High School, what about the youth program. Are there ant hockey people left down there?

I think the biggest thing is what the coaches are going to do with the lines this year, from what I hear Mccllelan will most likely center the second line, which is either insane or intelligent, but i think having a solid player anchoring the second line could bolster the teams lineup, but who will be the third forward on the first line?

Pittman is a good player but i think he had his biggest season last year only because he was on a line with Eddy, this year might be a little different, dont expect much from him this season

WBL? they will be competitors but they will not win the conference

Why can't we all give Sibley a chance?

Cause Sibley isn't in the SEC they are in the CSC.

Heard WBL lost Putney to Russel Stover and Lowell but don't know where.

1st line
Gage Miller(left wing, varsity last year, not much playing time, but very good player)
Bangs
Zimmerman

2nd line
Benny Mclellan. His two wings are undecided between returners vince Lulic, Jesse Perron, Andy Read, Bobby Kinne and Tony Barbato.

A lot of talent, so they will have three very solid lines.

CDH will be a very good team. Zimmerman, ALt and Bangs are all very good and all are in Elite. They have seven forwards back so three good lines and four d and alt is amazing and a returning goalie but he's unproven. Woodbury's two guys can't beat them. They have like four returners. they will be trash. Eddy was the only reason they were good. CDH vs Eastview section 3AA Final

David Eddy was far from being the only reason Woodbury was good last season or even the previous season.

Good goaltending, guys stepping up when not expected to -- such as Mike Nelson in the 3AA finals -- and the coaching of Wes Bolin.

2 goals and 2 assists for Eddy in the 3AA finals.

It was a team effort throughout the season.

either way whoever from this section makes it to state is going to get train wrecked by the other teams. We can sit here and say whose better between wood and cdh, but there nothing to what the other teams in state will be. Good teams for the section but will get killed in state. It will come down to Alt and Gaede. Eastview being the sleeper.

I can see the first line as being solid, all three strong skaters and zimmerman with the size but the rest of the lines look a bit shaky with no real leadership, however i can see the first line getting 85% of the teams points, with mark alt getting 10% and the rest of the team 5%

i like the balance of white bear, they have a handful of key returners including owen. i dont know anything about lowell and putney, if thats true , that hurts significantly.
