I wouldn't be so sure of that... I think someone from this section beat them already this year. I'm not sure though.

New Ulm got spanked by Marshall last year early in the season 7-1, beat them 9-0, and 7-3, in their next two meetings, New Ulm also beat Litchfield early in the season last year, and lost the section finals. They may have already been beat but they are still my pick. They have the most depth in their returning seniors, and a very good group of sophomores, they are going to make some noise this year and hopefully stick it out come section time.

I've seen there sophmores play last year in bantams a few times. They have no real standouts but are a solid group of kids that play well together. But i don't know if its enough for them to win the Sec.

Some of their sophomores have been on select hockey teams over the past few summers, and one even played elite II. Their bantam years have held strong records, and competed late in their regional tournaments. People say that New Ulm will be bad every year, and every year they prove you wrong. Come to terms with the fact that most of the time, they are better than your pick...and give them a little respect.

Elitle II is trash if you have to money and time to play it you can be in it

Ohh, so you mean in tryouts, when they TRYOUT, they really aren't trying out? Explain your reasoning....

If you have the money and the time to do it and can skate like a normal person you can be in elite II

That isn't true I watched them last year at the hermantown tournament and they had a couple standouts, but i don't know their names. number 16 and 11 caught my attention and also my friend Chuck Spruso the head coach of a lower jr team out west in canada

It isn't trash it's a good way to bring underclassmen into improving their hockey skills, sort of like any jr. gold teams

Jr. Gold is like the worst thing you could be on haha if you get cut from JV and play Jr. Gold you should quit because you suck, and when NU played Hutch I didnt see any kid that could dangle?

Yeah, so can playing against a terrible team. That usually helps out.

good team, terrible team, the goal goes on the score sheet, he earned the goals, he put the puck in the net, that takes some talent... if he keeps putting pucks in the net doesnt that make him an asset to the team? A strong asset considering you need goals to win a game...

I agree you need players who can score.

There has been two games??? You talk like he should be the captain or something... Did he score in the first one? I guess we will have to see how he pans out, but I'm assuming that he wont be much of an asset to his team, unless of course they are playing against bad teams when everyone is an asset.

Its been 2 games you can't tell me that this player is that good after 2 games. Give it some time, lets see if anything happens down the road. There must be some other good players on NU as well. What about good players on other teams in the sec? There must be some, who are they?

Mitchell Cowger Hutch he's 6th leading scorer in the state and Kyle Reinharts NU he is a very fast kid, strong on his skates, great shot and not afraid to take the body. Nate Adams Litchfields best player great shot, strong on his skates, he's about 6'4 so hes a big mofo and he's not afraid to take the body also

Cody Kohn for NU is a strong defenseman, this is his 4th varsity year. Kyle Reinarts, Thomas Novak, also Sr. foreward, quick, smart with the puck, and works very hard.
