Well, maybe DL didn't want to move. It just makes sense to me that they play in D 15 for youth hockey and they fit very well. Looking at new Map.... **IF** Northfield drops Randolph from Co-opt (Which is rumored not confirmed) they would be placed back in 1A most likely in October before the Winter season starts next year.
Trust me is DL could move they would DL to Warroad is over 3 hours. I know Coach Ben Noah brought up on YHH podcast this winter he would prefer 6A just based on Youth hockey and location to 6A programs but... Didn't happen. Didn’t look much into 6AA, don’t have any ties to that section. I think it is just Warroad and East Grand Forks (and perhaps Thief River Falls).
Compare those three to 6A top 3 of Alex, Fergus and Norhtern Lakes.
