Yep! What do you think of 6AA were you expecting any major changes or did you expect it to stay the same?

100 % agree also dont agree with moving Bloomington and Richfield to Metro East Section 4A but again they want to make as little changes as possible in a 2 year cycle.

Looking at new Map.... **IF** Northfield drops Randolph from Co-opt (Which is rumored not confirmed) they would be placed back in 1A most likely in October before the Winter season starts next year.
Well, maybe DL didn't want to move. It just makes sense to me that they play in D 15 for youth hockey and they fit very well. Of course I would like FF, DL, and Alex to go 8AA but that is another issue altogether.

Trust me is DL could move they would DL to Warroad is over 3 hours. I know Coach Ben Noah brought up on YHH podcast this winter he would prefer 6A just based on Youth hockey and location to 6A programs but... Didn't happen. MSHSL didn't move anyone but Kennedy and SWC to fix the hole in 4A.

As always I agree with your take but we have what we have now.

In no way should the MSHSL reward Nortfield for dropping Randolph!

Richfield?, I work at that arena and Richfield has not had a hockey team since 2015....

Yes, then you know are they co-opt still with SWC

Southwest Christian
Host: Southwest Christian
Richfield High School

They used Richfield as the location pin for SWC on the new MSHSL map made instead of SWC which is in Chaska how they were able to move them over to 4A why I have issues with it.

Looking at the map I still contend MPLS is further east and should of moved to 4A instead of SWC & Kennedy.... Used Richielfd as the pin for SWC is just wrong I think the team is mainly SWC kids

This makes the change even worse. I too an not sure how many players are from Richfield, but I would guess not many since the youth have been with Kennedy for years. The High School players should also be at Kennedy. Thanks for the clarification. ON the MSHSL still lists it as SWC.

Didn’t look much into 6AA, don’t have any ties to that section. Was more intrigued on how they were going to handle the 5/7/8AA sections and how they were going to group the north/NW suburban teams

I must not understand how to use that webpage. When I look into 7A and 7AA I see Denfeld as one of the 8 teams listed in 7A but beneath it says Admin Group: 7AA. Hermantown is also listed as one of the 8 teams in 7A with Admin Group:7AA beneath them. Cloquet is one of the 10 teams listed in 7AA, and their Admin Group is listed as 7AA. So are all 3 of them 7AA? My understanding from the posts on this board was that Denfeld was moving up, Cloquet was moving down, and Hermantown was remaining in 7A. Perhaps I would benefit from a separate page that lists all the teams in their new sections.

I don't think it's the drive time that makes him want out of 8A.
I think it is just Warroad and East Grand Forks (and perhaps Thief River Falls).
Compare those three to 6A top 3 of Alex, Fergus and Norhtern Lakes.

Of course, that is an easy take. I would think kthat DL hockey would much prefer to play against the teams that they always play against in youth hockey though.

Yes, that's true also.
