section seedings?

how are they section seedings picked?

is it a from a ranking by formula like minnhock?

win %?

combination?

The head coaches from the sections seed the teams.

it cant be purely from minnhock tho cause some games the lower seed is ranked higher on minnhock

it cant be purely from minnhock tho cause some games the lower seed is ranked higher on minnhock
if lee doesn't like the team mascot or colors, he usually seeds them lower :?

Coaches from the section get together (in person or conference call etc.) and lobby there team to be placed above other teams and give reasons why. Coaches then place the teams in order from #1 to ? without ranking their own team. These are entered into a spread sheet and the ranking numbers are tallied. Lowest number of points is number 1 seed, second in points is seeded number 2, etc.

Some sections post the results (actual rankings by each team) on the MSHSL website. I don't know if they all do, but I know that 8AA has.
