Big game for section seedings, winner should get the #2 seed as the two teams tied in the previous meeting. Hopefully Brainerd shows up, because Moorhead will.

My prediction is Moorhead wins 5-2. Teams going in opposite directions. Doesn't bode well for the Warriors.

Moorhead by 2 but would be a good chance for brainerd to turn the corner

they'll be playing for semifinal home ice, that's a good incentive, but brainerd has been in a slump as of late. This would be a great opportunity for them to turn it up before playoffs, and a good opportunity for the Spuds to show that they are still contenderes.

Spuds- 4
Warriors-1

Nevermind then, this a fairly worthless game then, it'll just determine who kicks the hell out of River Lakes or Monticello

Brainerd 5
Moorhead 4
I predict that one of these teams is going to give Roseau a good game in the post season.

No, Ram Hockey, you are wrong and you should look into it a little closer. Go check it out on the MSHSL website. The semifinals are in TRF and the finals are in St. Cloud.

Since Ram Hockey is busy I'll stick up for him. The site of the game is contingent on who is in the game.

You can stick up for anyone you want but the Minnesota State High School League website says that Section 8AA play-in and quarterfinal games are to be played at the site of the high-seed, semifinals at TRF and the final at STC. Maybe you should send an e-mail & tell 'em they got it all wrong !

I guess I know more than a website. If the game is between Roseau and Moorhead it is in TRF. If it is between Buffalo and SCT it is in St.Cloud. I will drop this conversation but I expect an apology in TRF. You can buy me a drink in the Legion between periods of the finals.

You can "expect" anything you want but you just might expect to experience the taste of crow ! Doing it your way would be just too logical. You sayin' its that way for the final game too, or just the semifinal ?

Since the original title of this subject was "Moorhead @ Brainerd Saturday", & anyone is interested: Spuds lead 2-1 with 4 min left in the 3rd.

Thats what I thought. The original question was about the semifinals - guess you'll be drinkin' alone !

Spuds 2, Warriors 1 final.
