Re: Moorhead @ Brainerd Saturday
Big game for section seedings, winner should get the #2 seed as the two teams tied in the previous meeting. Hopefully Brainerd shows up, because Moorhead will.doubleeagle wrote:If the weather holds out,who will win this game and why?
My prediction is Moorhead wins 5-2. Teams going in opposite directions. Doesn't bode well for the Warriors.
When Hell freezes over, I'll play hockey there too

Nevermind then, this a fairly worthless game then, it'll just determine who kicks the hell out of River Lakes or Monticellostxnpux wrote:BigM3810 wrote:gatzke wrote:they'll be playing for semifinal home ice, that's a good incentive,

Yes they are. The finals are in St. Cloud this year.

No, Ram Hockey, you are wrong and you should look into it a little closer. Go check it out on the MSHSL website. The semifinals are in TRF and the finals are in St. Cloud.Ram Hockey wrote:stxnpux wrote:BigM3810 wrote:

.
im thinking 5 to 2 moorhead
You can stick up for anyone you want but the Minnesota State High School League website says that Section 8AA play-in and quarterfinal games are to be played at the site of the high-seed, semifinals at TRF and the final at STC. Maybe you should send an e-mail & tell 'em they got it all wrong !ACTUALFORMERPLAYER wrote:Since Ram Hockey is busy I'll stick up for him. The site of the game is contingent on who is in the game.SPUDNUT wrote:CSG is right.

I guess I know more than a website. If the game is between Roseau and Moorhead it is in TRF. If it is between Buffalo and SCT it is in St.Cloud. I will drop this conversation but I expect an apology in TRF. You can buy me a drink in the Legion between periods of the finals.SPUDNUT wrote:You can stick up for anyone you want but the Minnesota State High School League website says that Section 8AA play-in and quarterfinal games are to be played at the site of the high-seed, semifinals at TRF and the final at STC. You can "expect" anything you want but you just might expect to experience the taste of crow ! Doing it your way would be just too logical. You sayin' its that way for the final game too, or just the semifinal ?ACTUALFORMERPLAYER wrote:I guess I know more than a website. If the game is between Roseau and Moorhead it is in TRF. Thats what I thought. The original question was about the semifinals - guess you'll be drinkin' alone !ACTUALFORMERPLAYER wrote:Thanks for the update. I am saying for the final only. My source is very reliable.SPUDNUT wrote:Since the original title of this subject was "Moorhead @ Brainerd Saturday", & anyone is interested: Spuds lead 2-1 with 4 min left in the 3rd.
Spuds 2, Warriors 1 final.
