I believe this is a good time for Hibbing.
Roseau seems to be down and has lost some confidence.

After 1 Period:
Roseau 3
Hibbing/Chisholm 1
Scoring:
1. HC-Drew Vechell (Ryan Hanegmon, Jake Stampohar) 3:40, PP
2. R-Tyler Landman (Adam Knochenmus, Shane Omdahl) 4:59, PP
3. R-Omdahl (Unassisted) 6:09, PP
4. R- Knochenmus (Landman) 14:41
Saves: Nathan Tromp, HC, 2; Ethan Kvidt, R, 11
Powerplays: HC-1/2+, R-2/2.
The Hibbing goal was officially credited to Drew Vechell, but Nick DeCenzo actually scored the goal, hopefully the official scoring gets corrected as Vechell was out at the blue line when the puck was put in from 3 feet in front.

Shots are misleading in this one. Roseau carried most of the play. Tromp had no chance on two of them. The second goal was somewhat soft, but wasn't terrible.
Its 3-2 now. Hanegmon scores 2:19 into the second for Hibbing.

Great game for both teams tonight. Hibbing started slow but never backed down and kept battling back. Hibbing never quit and showed alot of guts. All in all great ot thriller.

Hibbing's defense played terrible in this game. 7 and 27 took some stupid, undisciplined penalties that could have cost them the game. If they plan on making it to the X, they've got a lot of improving to do.

This was a great game to watch. Its just unfortunate that #23 Nick Oliver was unable to put on the gear. Its just amazing to watch a player who resembles Wendel Clark so much. On dropyourgloves.com it shows he had two tillys during his short time played with the force. Possibly the next #17 for the maple leafs?:)

Anybody know why Oliver didnt suit up last night?
Roseau looked like they have a good team. They are very physical which is key to winning, fast skaters, and great puck movement. Hibbings play last night wasnt so great. Their defense should start playing defense. Also they need to start being more physical by playing the body. I'm not the one usually to blame the refs but come on. That was one of the worst called games I've seen. They missed how many calls on both teams. They have to know hockey is a physical sport and let the kids play.

Oliver broke his collarbone while he was playing with the Force. He missed the beginning of the Roseau season due to this injury. He played a game and a half in Roseau's holiday tournament beforre hurting that shoulder again..so he's out for a few more weeks.

So did they miss a lot of calls or call to much? Your points contradict each other.

They missed a lot of calls, but some of the calls they made were questionable.

I'm pretty sure Oliver broke his hand in a practice scrap with George.

Aside from Jamnick, Ryan Johnson and Ryan Hanegmon had a nice game for the Jackets. Those two have been playing good hockey the last few games. Defense looked poor.

Roseau will win by a goal or 2. They got embarassed by Hibbing last time so they will be looking to dominate.
