After 1 Period:
Roseau 3
Hibbing/Chisholm 1
Scoring:
1. HC-Drew Vechell (Ryan Hanegmon, Jake Stampohar) 3:40, PP
2. R-Tyler Landman (Adam Knochenmus, Shane Omdahl) 4:59, PP
3. R-Omdahl (Unassisted) 6:09, PP
4. R- Knochenmus (Landman) 14:41
Saves: Nathan Tromp, HC, 2; Ethan Kvidt, R, 11
Powerplays: HC-1/2+, R-2/2.
The Hibbing goal was officially credited to Drew Vechell, but Nick DeCenzo actually scored the goal, hopefully the official scoring gets corrected as Vechell was out at the blue line when the puck was put in from 3 feet in front.

Shots are misleading in this one. Roseau carried most of the play. Tromp had no chance on two of them. The second goal was somewhat soft, but wasn't terrible.oneIdmonsta wrote:you gatta be kidding 2 saves on 5 shots through the backup in
Its 3-2 now. Hanegmon scores 2:19 into the second for Hibbing.

This was a great game to watch. Its just unfortunate that #23 Nick Oliver was unable to put on the gear. Its just amazing to watch a player who resembles Wendel Clark so much. On dropyourgloves.com it shows he had two tillys during his short time played with the force. Possibly the next #17 for the maple leafs?:)

Anybody know why Oliver didnt suit up last night?
Roseau looked like they have a good team. They are very physical which is key to winning, fast skaters, and great puck movement. Hibbings play last night wasnt so great. Their defense should start playing defense. Also they need to start being more physical by playing the body. I'm not the one usually to blame the refs but come on. That was one of the worst called games I've seen. They missed how many calls on both teams. They have to know hockey is a physical sport and let the kids play.

Oliver broke his collarbone while he was playing with the Force. He missed the beginning of the Roseau season due to this injury. He played a game and a half in Roseau's holiday tournament beforre hurting that shoulder again..so he's out for a few more weeks.HockeyFan_11 wrote:Anybody know why Oliver didnt suit up last night?

So did they miss a lot of calls or call to much? Your points contradict each other.HockeyFan_11 wrote:Anybody know why Oliver didnt suit up last night?
