Sometimes they don't even meet. 8AA has done that in the past (weather related).

The original question was posed because it was proposed this be done in all sports. It was used in 2 sections in soccer and about half in football. Both were posted on the minnesota-scores website early in the seasons.Jim9000 wrote:Not wanting to get into a big debate about this....but...
