Not wanting to get into a big debate about this....but...
Are the sections looking to use QRF for seeding or the traditional coaches rank/face-to-face, etc. ?
Just curious ... thanks
Early Seeding Question

I think it is still the traditional coaches have a meeting and rank. Dumb, very dumb. But I understand why they do it with some section teams playing different number of games and such. Wish they would get rid of conferences and force each Section team to play each other twice and do it on points alone..

Wouldnt they do it by phone or submit a ballet via e-mail or something along those lines then?PuckU126 wrote:Unless it has changed during the off season, you are correct Ranger.Ranger101 wrote:I think it is still the traditional coaches have a meeting and rank.
Sometimes they don't even meet. 8AA has done that in the past (weather related).

Meetings are preferred because they are more formal and in-depth discussions are held.GordonBombay99 wrote:Wouldnt they do it by phone or submit a ballet via e-mail or something along those lines then?PuckU126 wrote:Unless it has changed during the off season, you are correct Ranger.Ranger101 wrote:I think it is still the traditional coaches have a meeting and rank.

Re: Early Seeding Question
The original question was posed because it was proposed this be done in all sports. It was used in 2 sections in soccer and about half in football. Both were posted on the minnesota-scores website early in the seasons.Jim9000 wrote:Not wanting to get into a big debate about this....but...

Nothing is posted about hockey; curious if anyone knows for certain. It would get rid of some of the guess work, but not be ideal in some cases.
