hit from behind

I was @ the Shakopee vs Farmington game and one of the boy's from Shakopee was hit from behind head first into the boards. He was out on the ice for at least 5 minutes. Finally he was taken to the bench where he was throwing up due to an obvious severe concussion. Now the best part, no penalty was c...

Their in the BCHL, very similar to our NAHL. Although now that the NA has expanded so much, the BC is probably stronger. Good for them, Looks like the younger finally got his growth spurt, from 5-7 to 6-0 in one year, ouch those are some growing pains...I still wonder why the older just didn't play ...

think about it, you can get a 20 year old with 2 mores years of 50 plus games a year,2 more years of bigger faster games as well as 2 more years of man muscle. Remember these 18 hear olds will playing against 24-25 year olds that are much bigger and stronger. ( That was the first comment my son had)...

It's silly to say that the Nanne name means nothing. Everything I've ever read in the hockey "press" makes me believe that genetic pedigree means a helluva lot, at least to sports writers. (The Nannes would argue, I think, that it puts extra pressure and some negative vibe on their scene)...

In a Jr game against their arch rivals my son turned his stick upside down and covered his eyes and did the 3 blind mice routine after he scored a goal. And yep you can guess what happened his next shift out. They don't think much when they're 19-20 years old...But it was funny as you know what....

D3

My son played Juniors 2 years and is now out East playing D3 for a school close to Boston. He wasn't ready for college right out oh H.S. The 2 years of living away from home was the best thing for him. One of his best friends played for one of the bigger programs South of the city, and asked the Hock...

Personally I think Lehr is a better goaltender than Pennella but with that said, Pennella did play great in the playoffs. If you look at the games he won, he had some great statistics: 2.33 GAA 93 save %. As for the Crusaders I think credit goes to their staff. They got a team with only 6 veterans ...

Yes SSM has won many titles for a very good program, however, can you really say you represent Mn when the majority of your players are from out of state and are activley recruited!!! Don't tell they don't, my son and I were contacted by J.D.Parise prior to our move up here. I do agree the more the ...

Having had a son that played in both out of state AAA travel and now H.S.Varsity here in Mn, it's going to have to be a joint effort by MN hockey and USA hockey. Both have different birth dates for Midgets and below (Jan1st for USA and July 30th for MN) which would have to be worked out. Remember H....

Coach: A couple of questions first...1. since your up here playing, what tourney are you playing in, and what level. 2. What Travel Teams if any, are your boy's playing for in Dallas? If they aren't playing on at least a Dallas AAA Tier I team level (or a comparable team) and the whole team not just...

ITRvs NW Prospects ended with a score of 7-1. 10th grade goalie from AHA played very well. Pittman kid scored 4 and 2 assists. Including 3 in one shift. Like the above message stated, really only 2 kids could score on this team.
