Kidding aside, I am very humbled by what i've learned here today, i've learned there are alot of people out there who have been in the same if not worse situations, as parents, as players and maybe even as coaches. That I as a parent of a hockey player don't see a big picture, only the here and now....

Picking brains here.....whether from players, parents or coaches what do you see as being the most important assets a coach can possess?

well, all i can say is if they can stand all that pressure at their young age then the world is an open door for them....and will build character that lasts long past the rink.

Any thoughts on how coaches determine which goalie gets to play in any given game? If there is a choice of 3 varsity goalies, what do they go by, save percentage, practices, or politics? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
