Pine City area has 2 Freshmen D men in their top 5 D.

Dusty Bergstrom (younger of the Bergstrom boys) Currently has 7g 21a = 28pts... Not to bad for a 2002 B-day playing varsity

Gabe Westbrook (younger of the Westbrook boys) Currently has 1g 4a = 5pts

Aaron Dietmeier also put one home in the tough OT loss to Moose.

Moose looked good. WSFLG looked HORRIBLE!!!! Just goes to show, any team can win and or get beat on a given night.

Will their JV coach finish the season then as the head then???
That is to bad, he was doing good things with the team he had.

They have to get through Superior who has went out of section one for like a million straight years. I think they played them tough last year for a period and a half, then they fell apart. From what I have seen, if they are going to make a run, it will be this year or the next....

Aaron Dietmeier scored another goal in Tuesday's game. Silly Freshman forgot his jerseys so on hockey hub goal was given to a jv kid who has never even dressed varsity.

As far as most talented, this kid has to be up there. Big and strong for only a freshman....

I have seen the Blizzard, Mora, Minneapolis, Pine City and Becker play in person this year so the rest is speculation.

Honestly.... I may move them up to 3... I got to go see the game last night in Mora and neither team impressed me at all. I think the shots on net were like Blizzard 25 and Mora 15. I don't think I would call that offensive punch on either side of the puck. Very poor game from both sides, I hope for...

according to hockey hub, Aaron Dietmeier has 9pts. 5g and 4a. I watched this kid for one game this year. May be something special. Could be one of the most talented kid on a pretty good team that is 6-0.

With that big of enrollment, how long until Minneapolis is back in the mix. I have heard and read a ton on how many numbers they have in the youth, but why can they only field one Varsity team? I think they are in both conferences. IF you look for the last few years, I think they have only played the m8 conference opponents 1 time with each game consisting of 2pts. I believe the are in the process of getting into the TRC, but need to be released by the M8 first..... It will be interesting ...

I think they are a goofy situation. I believe they are still a part of the Mississippi 8, so I am not sure how their conference affiliation will work...

I am guessing with 15 returning letter winners, they will have plenty of depth. I think they only lost 1 1st liner, 1 2nd liner, and one D.

As for Mora I say 5th in the conference. Moose Lake, top 3? Minneapolis the topic of this thread, will also be towards the top of the conference.
