Yes very true. But in my opinion i do not think there are really scouts at JGB level. I know many scouts myself and dont think they would ever attend a JGB game.

You're totally entitled to your opinion, but if it were me I wouldn't be hard on players caring about things like this. If it didn't matter, they wouldn't have recognition like this at the high school & college levels. Many of these kids are seniors and it was their last season of organized hoc...

Are you guys for real with all this? Let me remind you this is JGB. And why are you still arguing over who is better? The season is over and its time to move on to spring and summer hockey, for those who even do that. I just say congrats to players who had good seasons whomever you may be.

Wessys Boys had two big points leaders.
#2 had about 40 some goals and about 30 some assists.
#17 had just over 60 goals (not all league games) and about 25 assists.
We fell short of state. Good luck to remaining teams.

i think wayzata took advantage of wessys weak defense. As for the playoff game, wayzata took a beating in their zone but held it off with some good saves by their goalie and some luck. Anything can happen in playoffs, good luck in state you guys.

Sounds like a great experience. Do they really push skating technique there like in years past? I really admire the style and quality of hockey that comes from that region of the world. Its all good though, me and WBhockey08 are going to Russia to play this summer. And i have to say its a blast.

Eh ya but you have to make the best of it. At the jr gold level i have 60+ goals and close to 90 points this season.. and who says the only fun hockey is highschool....

Sadly, I think a lot of high school hockey players quit (after being cut from their HS team) rather than play JG. This is really a shame because there is still a lot of great hockey happening at this level. In fact, most of the top lines that I've seen this year could easily be playing Varsity some...
