Warroad-Roseau Hill-Murray-White Bear Lake Edina-Minnetonka Duluth East-Cloquet Hermantown-Duluth Marshall St. Thomas-Hill-Murray Greenway-Grand Rapids Edina-Eden Prairie Blaine-Centennial Edina East-Edina West was quite a rivalry while it lasted, but for me the biggie was always Kennedy-Jefferson....

I think it's great! That said, I'm not crazy about wood sticks . A low-priced composite seems cheaper to me because they last longer than wood. Not all composite sticks are $200-250. What a great idea. Credit to the kids for buying into it. I LOVE wood sticks.........you can get a nice hook on them...

There is no spin about the Super squirt league. All four of the teams would beat the top association teams like OMG, Andover, Edina White, Rosemount etc. 9 out of 10 times. 5 or 6 of the top 01's around are playing in the league and about 15 of the top 30 02's around are playing in the league, so i...

Lost me at the part where you say your 7 year old made the decision. Decisions like these are made by parents. No reason to apologize for skating Choice IMO. The only decision I am making is whether to use my Visa or Am Ex to pay for it. It may be hard for some to fathom or unbelievable to others b...

The point system is odd: 6 points for a win 3 points for a tie 2 points for winning a period (total of 6 points) 1 point for a tied period 1 point for fewest penalties 1 point for a shut-out (I think that's it) You gotta just win your games, the 6 points is giant. I'm pretty sure they want to avoid...

Irish eyes = Blades asst' coach. I.E. the father of the kid who falls down repeatedly and shots 10 feet over the net. Were waiting with baited breath for your Brick roster. Nice ruse. Blades=Tiny dancers No, no NO. You just called out a 9 yr. old kid for inadequacies in his game. BTW, you are cluel...

As a parent on the '02 Machine, I gotta say our schedule this past weekend at Stars and Stripes was a joke. It was obvious the brain trust at MN made headquarters wanted to ensure we made the semis/finals. Our first three games were barely worth a trip the rink. Kids don't develop by beating crappy...

By now everyone accepts the idea that overspeed training is what really leads to accelerated development. The difference between a good team and a great team is not so much the skills as the quickness and speed at which those same skills are put to use. So a solid B1 player or A- player can improve...
