The first line for Roseau will have to come big time for Roseau to have a chance. Roseau's defence is average at best and will be tested all game. I don't think they have much of a chance, but then again, I didn't think Moorhead had a chance against Edina last year.

Roseau's defence will have a hard time defending Moorehead's
quick forwards. Roseau has a chance, but I wouldn't bet a dime on them.
Roseau will need to put up at least 4 or 5 on the board to be in this game.

Don't expect the Rams to get out of their tailspin before tournament time rolls around. Sure, Oliver coming back will help, but this teams woes are deeper than that. Player development, in many cases, has been minimal. This teams chances of a fourth straight section championship are little to none. ...

I would be very suprised if Roseau were to win this one. Warroad is having a great season and Roseau isn't that good this year. Enough said.

Lee's goal against avg. was shown to be exactly what it is...a farce. As soon as he faced good teams and quality shots, he got lit up. I fully agree with you Majkozak. Can you explain to me how his team won state last year with him in goal then? Did they play teams like Lakeville all 3 games last y...

I'm looking forward to this match up. I was at the game on Baudette Bay where the brutal conditions took both teams off their game. Roseau should prevail, but this is the state tourney and anything can and does happen! I'm always a bit of a pessimist, since I grew up in the 1960's and would see my ...

Roseau missed on a lot of good scoring chances coming close quite a few times. But in the last 2 games they have scored 4 goals with Ness getting 3 of the 4. This will not get it done against the metros. Their powerplay moves the puck really well but didn't really wow me on their final shot selectio...

I'm pretty sure it was Gary Ploof who moved to Warroad from Roseau to star for the Warriors in hoops. Chris was just a lowlife.

Good assesment Boblee, but nobody is going to stop Roseau and Edina from coming to the dance this year. Minnetonka on the other hand, may have some problems. One way or the other, it will be a really interesting finish. I think we may see the strongest field in the tournament this year than we have ...

No. 19 from Minnitonka may be bigger and faster than Ness, but that is about all he has over him. Wisconson would trade for him in a heartbeat! Ness is as close to a Larry Olimb clone as you will see, only he is a lot quicker. Ness is the real meal deal.

I think the schedule is already set. I don't think at this point in the season that they will slip Edina or Minnitonka into their schedule because it is to bad, only then will they know what it will take to beat the likes of these teams. Especially Edina, how will Roseau stop Buddish in the corners?...

I can't think of one fantastic save that Michael Lee had to make tonight to earn the shutout, amazing, I thought they might give them a game. Not to be.

 As for Roseau repeating, it aint going to happen. They don't have the depth. They skate 4 defencemen and after ness(35-40 minutes a game) they don't have any other solid defencemen, Weston included. Their third line is very mediocre. What kind of legs are they going to have on the third day of...

Because Warroad doesn't have a goalie that can stand on his head, I feel they have very little chance of beating Roseau. Lee's been playing well of late, so go with the Rams in this one by at least 2 goals.
