I think it's a mix of men/women when it comes to the girls playoff games, but I'm not sure. We did have a couple women linesmen this year during some regular season games, but few and far in between. Of course I watched the game! How else would I know that Warraod was 1 for 100 on the PP? My point was this...putting myself in the position of a ref...I'm standing in the low corner...I lose sight of the puck...I blow the whistle...uh oh, it's in the net! I skate over and emphatically indicate goal...

I find it hard to believe that the same ref that blew the whistle would then skate over and emphatically point to the net indicating "goal". If the ref did that, that is a huge mental error that should not be ignored by the MSHSL. However, one should point out that Warroad should never had...
