Empire: I have watched a lot of NHL games this year. They are swallowing the whistle. They are not even calling all the clutching and grabbing anymore. Look at the decrease in the number of penalties called this year compared to last. The bottomline is that the refs shouldn't decide the game with a ...

PACMAN The guy reffing was not TOK. I do not even think that he refs anymore. I think that he used to play for UMD many years ago. They announced the refs as Hansen, Gager, and Geebow. I think that Hansen was the one without the stache. Puck: Thanks for your agreement. You must see a lot more of the...

Refereeing in the WCHA
I cannot take another game of watching this. When are the coaches going to get a set and tell Bruce Mcleod to get rid of Greg Shepard? I am so tired of watching Derek Shepard in all the quality series, ruining the game. If you watched the St. Cloud/Wisconsin game tonight, he let the game get out of ...

Here we go again! The same two guys that blew it for the East/Cloquet game left there mark again at the DECC. Why do you need refs? The goal judges called both goals. The first Hibbing goal hit the water bottle in the net, red light came on and the ref waved it off. His partner was at center ice wav...

Let's all put hometowns aside and cheer for the north regardless who it is. That is what makes us who we are. As far as the refs deciding games, what happened to putting the whistle away at that point in the game unless there is a scoring chance or injury penalty and let the kids decide it. You see ...

Once again Sandstrom has validated my stance on why he should have been on the CCM All Star team ahead of Lustig and Putzel. He won the game for Hibbing last night. BTW, the refs were from Greenway. Plackner and Zuelke. Pretty weak on both sides. If you watched the East/Cloquet fiasco at the DECC, t...

Nike-Bauer: You are quite hippocritical. You pick on Sandstrom because he hasn't played well all year, but yet Vechell has done nothing in the few games that he has played and he is an All-Star? Sandstrom won the Rapids game, won the Falls game, and Virginia. If it wasn't for him, no matter how grea...

No one has answered my question on how these teams are picked. Puck Ranger, you seem to be a expert on everything hockey, any idea? Still, Vechell doesn't deserve to be there. He has done nothing to justify his selection or nomination. How can you honestly put him on the team when he has played so f...

GoGo: Just like Blake Wheeler is supposed to carry the Gophers and hasn't stepped up, Decenzo and Jamnick have stepped up for Hibbing. The game is meant for players that performed ALL year, not just a few games. Jamnick and Decenzo and Sandstrom sparked the jackets, not Vechell. Wagner and McConkey ...
