Re: Blades

I can't help but chime in on this becaue my son plays for the Blades. BLUF: (that's bottom line up front for those who don't know) At this age, there are a many many many good teams and great players. On any given day, in any given rink, games can swing either way. A bad bounce here, a hot goalie t...

Go to the Chi town shuffle web page, the when the blades don't have the refs in there corner they lose 10-1 or was it 6-1 whatever it was a slaughter, it's a big world out there with lots and lots of talent. If some of these teams could geographically practice 3 times a week and work on systems it w...

Re: j

PMC07, not NAPA, NAPS, the North American Prospects tournament. It's in Rocherst, NY the end of June. Slowly but surely it's becoming the next best summer tournament behind Toronto Prospects. Alot of the same teams will play both. Just a recommendation. Oh sorry, we are just a bunch of Blue Collar ...

The Blades are a very good team, I was standing right next to a very nice dad from the Blades. He agreed on the second goal that he heard the whistle as I did and said to me that it shouldn't have counted. As far as the third as it was a deflection from what I seen off a rebound off the kids knee, i...

Re: reality

Can I aks the both of you HAWK guys a question? Did you feel as if your team was far more superior to the Blades team? Do you think you dominated play? No play was even, the Blades outshot us, but we didn't throw everything at the net, time inside the zone was equal, it was a great game by two good...

let me give some insight to the blades sucess in this tourney. my son played for the hawks we were up 2-1 with 4 minutes left. at 3 something left in the game our goalie covers a loose puck the refs than allow play to go on for another 5 seconds until finally one of the blades players jam it home. ...

Re: Pembina Valley

What I heard at last year's Easton Cup was that the Fargo Metro Grizzlies were short kids at the 1994 level. If you searched Pembina Valley you saw that it's a small town, near the North Dakota/Canadian border, probably short AAA players too. I heard two small organizations merged to form the 1994 ...

anyone heard of the Pembina Valley Hawks? This year there seems to be more US kids on this team, I think we counted 8 or 9 from Grafton, Grand Forks, Fargo, and East Grand Forks. This is based on the usual locker room talk from my son and asking other parents, I can let you know for sure when I see...

I agree with you on one point and am not trying to argue either, I'm not driving the 11 and 12 peewee thing but to say 15 or 16' Bantam ages aren't being looked at I'm sorry, I disagree, At the USA Hockey national bantam tourney you will find some 15's - those born between Jan 1 93 and the April da...

Who's scouting peewee and bantam kids? I don't know? you'd have to ask Nick Oliver from Roseau, didn't he sign with St Cloud before he even played 1 HS game? when did they start looking at him? Have you seen the form Nick signed? Yes, when did 'they' start looking at him? I am not trying to argue w...

The kids and parents from whom I talked to say it is a great experience. The Tier I is going on at the same time and the play isn't that much different outside of the fact the Tier I teams it is apparent that they have been together 325 days and played 120 games, with their systems but the individua...

I don't know if you are doubled rostered by rostering one team in sept, then on nov 1 roster roster with your winter team until the season is over than roster back, I don't know the rules but ND is plaing in the Tier II go look on the webpage the last two years, I watched them play SSM in grafton la...

To play in the tier 1 national tourney I believe you need to play together all winter and have a minimum number of games, win a district tryout and advance. If you look at the USA hockey national tourney website ND the last few years has sent a team or two to the Teir II national tourneys u14 and u1...

Where is the community spirit in the schools winning state HS championships that don't field youth programs?
