Hill-Murray 3 , South St. Paul 2 Hannah Brandt continued her amazing senior season, scoring all three goals for the Pioneers as they beat the Packers 3-2. She now has 52 goals to go with her 30 assists on the season. Shots on goal for the two teams were even, at 25 apiece. We all knew this game wou...

Warroad vs Roseau
from what I hear Warroad dominated Roseau in scrimmage. Now we know why they moved to section 8 AA. Looks like we now have a dog fight in 8AA.
North wright might just give them a ride for their money. i Like what i see.

Re: TOO MUCH
Wow. Someone finally sees the light here.hipcheck wrote:Roseau loses too much from this years team that will not be replaced by players from the 14U team. Not one player moving up wll be an impact player at the varsity level. Goaltending will be O.K. but they lose too much fire power due to graduation.

Re: Super Rink Meeting - Girls Hockey in Seattle
Last night I was at the Super Rink and ran into the Seattle SnoKings U19 (or U16?) team. They had a girl goaltender '93 who was very good. They are in town over the weekend to play boys teams including Shattuck, visit Universities and to watch the WCHA Final 5. I had a chance to talk to the goalies...

Watched Moorhead play a few times this year and was not impressed. Roseau will have its way with this section.... If Stenerson was smart she would jump into Crookston's or Warroad's program so she would have a chance at seeing a state tourney. Roseau is just too good and will be for years. They hav...

Lady Rams Creates Easier Path To State
It looks like a High Probability Elk River is moved to Section 7AA. Which I predicted. According to a couple of my inside sources. The Rams knew this would happen. Great Strategy. Run from Warroad. Its too late I believe for Warroad to counter punch and move in to the 8AA. Would of loved to see the ...

What are you guys taking about? Roseau moved up to AA because, to be the best you have to play the best. Unless your team is in the tournament, nobody cares and nobody will remember who won class A…sorry that’s just the way it is. As far as leaving to avoid Warroad…how absurd is that. Unless I’m mi...

Re: Section Realignment
Melvin has the right idea. Who cares if you have to drive a bit to your section games as long as you know that they are fairly aligned. Take the top 8 or 16 teams each year and spread them out. These rediculous blowouts have to stop. I do like the idea of private schools all being required to play ...

I would guess that means Elk River or North Wright County will move out of 8AA. I don't think anyone has the option of moving to class A. I could be wrong on that though. That leaves 8A very small. Any guesses who moves there? Who would you like to leave your section for your team to compete agains...

Got to thinking. Lets get Warroad to go AA too. Then we can have another Warroad Vs Roseau Section final and the hockey gods will be happy. Then they can come down whip up on all those city teams who think they know how to play hockey. Good move by the Rams...glad to see it. IMO, the Rams, Warriors...
