Our team has been scouting various teams that will likely play in the east peewee region (hosted by Cottage Grove). Inver Grove is one team that we all agree has a lot of upside. I have seen them play three times and have been impressed each time. This will be one heck of a regional tournament: 3 Te...

What does the third game on Sunday accomplish other than determining a true/sole regional champion? The two winners of the semi-final games advance to state. Nothing changes with these same two teams squaring off later in the day... they both still qualify. The current regional format works well.......

And as a point of reference, here's the South Region draw from last year. While the districts/teams that comprise a region change from year to year, the format remains the same. http://www.minnesotahockey.org/assorted/South%20PeeWee%20A.pdf All regional info (from last season) is located at: http://...

The top two teams in each pool advance to the two championship games on Sunday when the pools cross over with #1 from one pool playing #2 from the other (and ditto for the other pool winner and #2 team). Winners of these two games advance to state (as opposed to playing one another for state seeding...

What were the semi-final scores? The Edina website has yet to be updated. It should be a heck of a game.

Good inquiry. I found this trick in the high school thread.
You can find the varsity and jv rosters via the following link:
http://www.mshsl.org/mshsl/activitypage.asp?actnum=410
Select school, sport (hockey!), and then roster or "full" roster.

How many of there players are really from Como (Grandfather Rule)? And how many years are they going to allow Highland to rob Como? I think it's more of a matter of Como shooting itself in the foot (poor management of association) than Highland robbing players. It is true, however, that there are m...

Are there any kids on the machine that are any good? That is a good question, I dont think so.[/quote  I thought the machine team had the best players in the state. This thread is becoming touchy yet tasty. It is eye opening. With regard to the Blades, they are an established and reputable organization… a tremendous track record. They have things going on at most levels, especially the 97’s. With LP at the helm, positive things are happening. Conversely, things...

It is obvious that these are the same two guys/dads that oversee their respective 96 and 97 Blades teams during the summer. One of the two carries a lofty pedigree and portfolio of credentials. As for the other? It is not surprising that the 97 Blades (under the direction of LP, a hockey guru) offer...
