Picking a AAA TEAM
At that age it is more important to work on power skating, edge work and stick handling. Robby Glantz or Diane Ness , Scott Stephan are all excellent. Also Chris B. from the Ice edge is one of the best trainers for stick handling he was with MM for several years and went on his own. To pick a AAA pr...

Re: 98 Jr Bagders
The Duece is Bernie's "B" team.... Again, answer my question: if your squad is so mighty and can play with the Blades, Machine, Icemen, etc....why did you play in the Open instead of the Invite? Did the Blades players have to pay? Or did you let them come in for free? Everyone pays ...

Re: 98 Jr Bagders
The last 2 years they have been in the Championship. in fact in the last 2 years no Mn team has made it. other than the No Wings in a different division. And the WI Flames won it prior to that. It comes down to recruiting having a winning program . The kids making new pals and most important having...

quite complaining
That's not what I said at all. What I said was tourney organizers don't police team rosters for curiosities. Maybe Bernie does as he didn't like the idea of a former player playing on a new team. That was a weird one. What I did say was it's the responsibility of the AAA organizations to run their ...

Re: 98 Jr Bagders
I'm sure they won't/can't move up because their best players are Blades players they pick up for this tournament so they would loose them and couldn't compete. The last 2 years they have been in the Championship. in fact in the last 2 years no Mn team has made it. other than the No Wings in a diffe...

98 Jr Bagders
why is the '98 Jr. Badger's in the open tourney again in '09? Didn't they win the '98 open in '08? I'm sure they won't/can't move up because their best players are Blades players they pick up for this tournament so they would loose them and couldn't compete. The last 2 years they have been in the C...

First of all manchild I would change your attitude that is why you are still looking for a place for your kid to play! Several teams go to top level invite tourney's. If you feel the need to have your son play on a top level team put one toghter your self and go play in some Canadian tourney's you w...

Re: Rotating positions at the Squirt A level
Coaches: I am curious whether you believe, at the Squirt A level, teams should rotate players between defense and forward during the season. Intuitively, I think this is a no-brainer from a developmental standpoint, which is supposed to be the cornerstone of Squirt hockey, but I'm open to hearing o...

Bob Capra's tourney freeze
First of all Nice job Terry Moore! I am sure when the AAA showcase-Machine-Easton tourney's don't fill up they will be calling offering half price entry fees like they did last year. The more local teams that compete the better. And remember Hockey is for the kids and they play it for fun and the lo...
