[quote="observer"]Vapor XXXXs are for men over 200 pounds. The Vapor XXV is a better skate for a youth player if you can convince your kid. I've heard the players at Shattuck wear XXVs. To answer your question though I think you mean contoured. Skates are rockered out of the box. Vapors ac...
This will be a very good district playoff. woodbury has been beat by some very average teams. Rochester came on strong at the end but were they pushed enough? South played in the weaker of the scheduales. and North is not that good. Igh is also up and down, if they come to play they can win. My vote...
Sarcasm or not, I don't think we should talk about mites or squirts. Things change so fast at those levels. I can't believe that we even bring those topics up!! quote="muckandgrind"] Quit ripping on this team, let the parents pay all the money they do, let them travel all over the country ...
Quit ripping on this team, let the parents pay all the money they do, let them travel all over the country and play and spend more money, then watch as there talent slowly stops progressing and other players grow into there own. then watch how all the talent evens out.. THEY ARE ONLY 10 YEARS OLD!! ...
Ok I know winter is getting long but I heard it again today: Team is killling a penalty and the parents are yelling ICE THE PUCK..... DAAAAA your on the penalty kill therefore you can't ICE THE PUCK! Thankfully this wasn't my team. With as much time as they spend in the rink and on the road, never ...
I believe rotating at the squrt level is a great thing. Winter hockey is about 4-5 months long, what we do is each month switch position. The kids get a feel for that position for a whole month long, I believe they retain more about the position they are playing b/c it is constant for games and prac...
son played against his team this summer. does not control himself on the bench was very upset at the refs got bench penalties in 2 games. shouldn't get upset with refs in summer hockey because its summer hockey and the refs stink in the summer
As for the rosters of these 2 teams, if parents have not been involved in AAA hockey before, you can count on thes rosters too change year after year after year. So good luck this year but you maybe on a different team next year!

Come on that is a stupid ? Of course they are real. Tied by there mothers. Can they all ties there skates at that age?
2000's, Mmmmm are they mites? Does it really matter? I don't think the kids care that much about bragging rights they will forget about it after the game. The parents may not, but the kids will.
I have been reading some of this. AAA hockey coming to your winter leagues. I know what AAA is in the summer, But what is the cost in the winter? And how would you divide the teams? Maybe regional.
Or maybe big cities? Any ideas
At the BV peewee tournement on Sat, a game against IGH and Av the refs called 6 misconduct penalties for mouthguard infractions. Granted the refs did warn the players on both teams but the kids are in a habit of chewing on there mouthguards so they were called. But what I dont understand is how they...
tomuchtoosoon, how can you say the kids are under exclusive contacts, they are 11 year old kids who's parents pay there way on these teams. And yes I am one of those.
