Personally I have never flocked to these teams, and I never will. And you know what I have saved a lot of time, energy, stress, and money. The cream always rises to the top. My son has never done these so called SELECT teams and he has a scholarship, so makes you wonder. <p></p><i></i>

You are so right on the money. What they do to kids is horrible. There are so many good kids that get overlooked. My son is in that category with RJ, boy I could tell you some stoies. Too much is put into the elite leagues and the selects. If a kid is going to make it, he will with or without these leagues. Selects Are A Joke
Where have you all been for the last decade? The selects have always been a joke. It is a disgrace to hockey, but these days what isn't. My son was told he wasn't big enough one year, and he is 6' 3" 220. Then we were told that the jersey numbers were mixed up. Whatever, how dumb do they think ...

Lets get a grip people, parents, and coaches, these kids should be able to play whatever and all sports that they want. It makes them better athletes. What is happening? Most college, and pro coaches will agree. <p></p><i></i>
