Judge: If you are saying more ice time automatically makes your player better, then I have to strongly disagree with you. Ice time combined with good coaching makes a player better. Bad skating, puck handling, shooting, passing and selfish play is not corrected because your kid spends more time on t...

The two Edina squirt A teams did not go well. They were unbalanced. The Green team went 35-3-1. The White team went 4-25-2 overall. I heard they are not going with two A teams next year. IMHO there are couple of hurdles to overcome in the large associations before you can do two A teams: 1-The teams...

Good recovery. Beat Burnsville. 5th place finish not too shabby at all. Great job Tigers. Keep your heads high!
Well, I hate to get technical STBS but Farmington got 5th or 6th. Wayzata and Farmington would have had to play each other to determine place.

My bad about Farmington. Congrats STBS.

Sorry to hear about Rosemount but not surprised. 3OTs and then to lose....hard for the kids to bounce back.

Does anyone know the results of the 3rd place game? Rosemount vs Flyers?

And what about the 5-8 games? I'm guessing since we haven't heard from STBS, Burnsville may have won.
Burnsville vs Farmington?
GF Blues vs Wayzata?

Back to thunderwolf's earlier question (and again back to topic), how have the teams from out of state as well as Canada traditionally faired in this tournament? I know from our few encounters with out of state teams it seems that the skating is weaker but I don't know if that is indicative of all t...

Toomuchtoosoon and Snowmass-Off topic a bit but had to respond. Wayzata has always had B1 teams that do very well. If Wayzata has one "just above average" A team, not sure how could they field two competitive A teams. Look at Edina. Similar in size and have two A teams. One is a winning te...

White Bear had one Squirt A team and three Squirt B teams in the tourney. Wayzata took 3rd, beating WBL in double OT 3-2.

Woodbury Blue will not be in Fargo. That's Woodbury White.[/quote]

Does Woodbury have balanced or unbalanced Squirt A teams? If unbalanced, which is stronger-blue or white?
