The River Heights "A" Bantam squad has a good head coach. I heard he is looking to move up to the high school level. He only played to the "C" Bantam level but he once took a "B" Bantam team to regions. I wouldn't be surprised if he were to be offered the positioin. Hi...

So when Herb Brooks coached, kids were offered 1mil or so to go pro and a one-way contract? How is 1979 to now a comparison? By the way Herb recruited the best players in the state, not role players for college hockey. (don't get me started on Flynn) Fast forward... So if Lucia did not get recruits ...

I don't think there was any "hate" here. There was a question, you found an answer to the question. I think the initial post just listed a few examples. No reason to start something when there isn't anything there.

Great post...i agree. wouldn't the association and/or district have to give a kid the ok to leave their association? The Fire I get, but why would they let a kid to go play for Edina instead of helping their home team?
