My son who will be a senior next year, attended the combine and was contacted by many NA3 coaches. I am just wondering what the other kids experiences where. Do you think it is worth doing again next year? Did very many kids speak with NAHL teams? It seamed like most of the scouts where from the NA3...

I still say the rule is to broad, my son got a five min. major and a game on a very routine check, the kid layed on the ice untile the trainer came and looked at him, then he got up and skated off the ice. He was out two shifts later. My son missed five periods of hockey. that doesn't seem right. We...

the new boarding rule. good or bad?
My son's team was in a tourney in Moorhead this weekend and every game had a boarding call with a game misconduct. I hate this rule if the kid lays on the ice the misconduct is called, if he gets up it is not,Dumbest rule ever.

West End Bruins VS Grand Forks [poor refing]
Did anyone see this game? My son plays for Grand Forks and said the refs were terrible on both teams. 14 penalties called 2 players ejected for getting 3 penalties in one game. 5 contact to the head penalties. Every time they hit someone the ref found a reason the call a penalty. My wife said nothing...

I infer from that you mean the Bantam As. When was it supposed to occur? You do realize that Bellows is the assistant coach, righ t? If someone is to blame, it's Dornbach, the head coach. I am not from E G F. but heard they beat Edina in Roseau and were to play them last weekend. Edina called and s...

It's getting old if your Edina. Man up and play the game. I'm sure Bellows had a few rough games in his lifetime, does he think his boys are to SOFT to play in a rough game? I don't care what the reason, you don't quit and you don't cancel. PERIOD!!!HockeyGuy81 wrote:Boy is this subject getting old.

Edina cancelled E G F game
Not sure why but it seems to me it looks like Edina is scared to play them after gettimg beat by them last week. If things are'nt going there way they just won't play. Seems to be a pattern.

I have a Dec.1 and it sucks for summer hockey. He is one of the better kids in the winter, but in the summer he has to play with the older kids who played up one level all season. I also have a june B-day that we started school late. so he is the oldest in his class but has to play winter hockey wit...

Not sure what you mean? Lamoureux did man up, all 5' 9 of him. Marvin can't keep taking out players and think know one is going to do any thing about it. And having your daddy call the Sioux coach and say you think someone might try to hurt your little boy, and your scared for his safty, does'nt fly...

My point is and was that the hit was legal. And no I dont want anyone getting hurt, but it is a rough game and players do get hurt. That does'nt mean the hit was illegal. You need to take off your SUE glasses and get out of the wind (no trees humor). Frattin teed Wehrs up from a long way out and des...

Rule [606] charging is clear and so is the video.Take the maroon and gold glasses off. Have a nice day. :D WOW that ref comment really concerns me. Haha, take the black and green off my boy. it was blatant, in the continuation of the hit he left his feet. there is no way he didn't have that...

It is really hard to talk to someone with such little knowledge of the rules. look up the rule where leaving your feet is concerned. Rule [606] A. A minor or major penalty shall be imposed on a player who runs or jumps INTO or charges an opponent. [note] if more than two strides or steps are taken, ...

Re: Frattin Hit
Watch the video on you tube. Frattin glides in with speed shoulder down and delivers a text book check. Not hi fault Wehrs head was down. Si.nce when is hitting to hard a penalty. Just like the hit on Bjugstad early in the year in a high school game. Good hit , just keep your head up. Textbook char...
