Re: U12B Rankings

I'm not happy we don't have an A. I think we have 18 skaters between the two. I don't know if my daughter would have made it or not, but we have good group of firls that would compete with most of the As. One came in from duluth because they didn't go A and had a huge team. I think shes from the bor...

She's not ours (Cloquet), she plays for Duluth. Shes a 12U. Evidently she was at Selects last year. I just looked at there website. They have 10 games so far. 5 shutouts, 1 GAA, two non-league losses of which they were both 2-1. Superior scored the most on her- they must have played last night and D...

Re: U12B Rankings

Cloquet doesn't. We have two Bs. Duluth doesn't either, although their 10s were A last year.

Re: Best goalies in the state 10U, 12U and 14U

Our girls played duluth yesterday, and they have an outstanding goalie. We outshot them at least 2-1 with some good shots. I believe she played 10A's last year and they didnt have enough for an A and B this year, so they lost a couple of their big players. I looked at there schedule and she has 5 sh...

Upcoming Tournament Predictions for 12U A and B's

The All American is this weekend. It's a good indicator for a lot of teams outside of the western suburbs. Let's get your predicitions for 1st in each. Mine is WI Wild for the American (basically a AAA or Rainbow), Mounds View in the National (Good crop of talented players), Duluth in the B's (Only ...

[Mute point because ...[/quote]

It's moot! Mute means inaudible. We can teach our kids to skate, but can we teach them English if we don't know it ourselves? Let me guess- you'll write "irregardless, you know what I mean!"?

It would be great to see Duluth put out a 12A squad. ZIt is hard to believe with the numbers and qulaity they have on the boys side that they can't compete at the A level. I suspect they might lose some girls to the boys side??? As for the 10 coach...unless he's from Russia....there's no relation t...

No, I don't think Duluth had a 12A team--the tournaments I remember they played as a B team. They weren't in the Olympic region 12A tournament, which is hard to avoid since there are so few A teams in that region. I'm getting everyone confused. Duluth had a 10A team last year. That's what I was ref...

Re: 12U A or B??

Iam not sure but I dont think Grand Rapids or Cloquet or the other teams you mentioned are 12U A? Yes, I was just saying that they have the numbers. I'll bet Cloquet will develop an A team within a year. Duluth had one last year and did well. I know Grand Rapids had one, but I didn't know how they ...

As I stated in one of the other posts, I think Proctor and Duluth hold the most promise for the 12's and 14's. Duluth had a solid 10A team last year. I don't know how many are moving up, but they've got good coaching there and they always seem to pick up speed and compete very well as they get older...

Good Northern U12's

We moved north last year and we had a chance to see how the talent rates with the cities. Proctor had a good B team last year, but I don't think they'll be fielding an A team. Cloquet hasn't had anything to crow about, and Duluth had a decent 10A last year. Grand Rapids and Cloquet have the numbers,...
