East 2011-2012

I've coached at the High School level the past four season in Minnesota, and been involved in High School hockey basically since I was born. I have seen East play every year. One of their top 3 defenseman they had last year didn't see a lick of ice time when it mattered. (Beaulieu) That kid is gonna...

You're better off playing in the Gopher State Festival that same weekend, it costs half the amount it does to play in the exposure, and there are probably just as many "scouts" at the Gopher State Festival. I've always had a good experience with it in my playing days and with sending kids ...

Duluth Marshall beat Warroad 5-0 in their own rink. Shots were also way off on the scoreboard. Give the Warroad goalie credit, I think only twenty or so shots were recorded for Marshall but the score keeper missed at least 10-12 that I saw alone.

Lourdes loses to Duluth Marshall 5-1 two ENG, Game much closer than score indicates. Lourdes outplayed marshall most of the game. Not the case, I was at this game. Lourdes was definitely outplayed by Marshall. Marshall goalie played well, but the Lourdes goalie is what kept this a 3-1 game for the ...

Talarico had 43 pts if you include their short run in sections. Wrazidlo had 40 pts including 0 in their big play off run. Den/Cent/feld/ral is so so this year I've seen them play. Thompson is their best bet for making any sort of run but he is still shakey at best. At least they will have a large a...

Shots were 55-9 in favor of Marshall...definitely could/should have been more lopsided but Marshall couldn't convert on all of their chance. Central's goalie also had a pretty good showing. Many of Marshall's shots ended up hitting him in the stomach even on their second and third chances.

The teams are: Duluth Marshall Superior, WI Edgewood, WI Appleton, WI Proctor Fort Frances, Canada New Ulm A team from Chicago bailed last minute so it is a goofy set up, sort of a round robin format, with goal differential determining the winner I believe. I know Fort Frances beat Appleton in a sho...

Tony Lucia would be lucky to make the squad at Anchorage or Mich Tech, let alone be a senior captain. He's garbage.
