I played varsity baseball and hockey, and I am in favor of a mercy rule for hockey. If a team is up by 10 going into the third period, or goes up by 10 in the third period, call the game. actually, my team is intersting....they play the really bad seniors on varsity. Its kinda a mercy thing, except for the younger players who are better, and get forced to JV. I think taking the Senior over a better underclassman is just dumb. Put in the kids that are going to give you the best resul...

What if your town doesn't have a JR Gold team? Then what? You can't just deny the senior from playing at all. I think the spots should go to the better player, so if the senior is better than an underclassman on JV, the spot should still go to the senior.

Should be a great game between two of the biggest rivals in northern Minnesota behind Warroad-Roseau...Both teams are fantastic teams..couldn't be a better matchup to have as the section finals. Seeing as how hibbing is almost twice as big as the falls I hope they feel special they won. They had to drop down to single A just they have a chance at going to state. You were AA at one time too. On a side note, I wonder if Willie Corrin is as good as spearing fish as he is spearing players? lol...
